In October, in Canada's Arctic on the shores of Hudson Bay, one of the
world's largest populations of polar bears congregate waiting for the bay
to freeze. Once the ice forms, the bears can reach seals, their
favorite prey. The port community of Churchill is located on the
bears' migration route. Visitors at this time of year have the
unique opportunity to view this magnificent animal in its natural
habitat, a world-class wildlife experience.
Travel is by train from Winnipeg (there are no roads into
Churchill.) The tour originates and concludes in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada
