Originates in Montréal. Connections from the Canada, West outing are by train from Toronto. The itinerary is a continuation of the trans-Canada coast to coast rail outing featuring the eastern Canadian provinces of Québec, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, and a train ride across New Brunswick.
• Visit the Saguenay and Charlevois regions of Québec with a ride through the Laurentide wilderness on a frequently overlooked local train, the Saguenay.
• Whale and marine mammal cruise in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park

Pointe-au-Pic, Québec. We will enjoy a gourmet dinner here on our Québec
travels.
• Visit rural Prince Edward Island and enjoy a two night stay at a delightful country inn on the North Shore. Visit with lobster fishermen and see them bring in their catch, visit PEI National Park, and Green Gables, setting for Anne of Green Gables novel by Island author, Lucy Maud Montgomery.
• Visit Pier 21 in Halifax, Canada's equivalent of Ellis Island, which was the reception center for immigrants, refugees and Canadian military personnel from 1928 to 1971.
• Travel Nova Scotia's Atlantic shore to charming seashore villages of Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Shelburne. Enjoy lunch at the Lobsterfest at the lighthouse in Shelburne. Visit the acclaimed Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in Lunenburg and enjoy a Nova Scotia seafood dinner on the wharf afterwards.
• Return to the United States via fast catamaran ferry to Portland, Maine, then conclude with a ride on the Downeaster train to Boston. Conclude in Boston, with Amtrak connections available to cities in the Northeast, Chicago and points west.
Fare $1895 per person, based on double occupancy at hotels. Single occupancy available for $240 additional. Prices shown in U.S. dollars. Fares include all transportation, sleeping car accommodation on the train (1 night) and at hotels, 7 nights; 10 meals; admission fees at all attractions visited as a group; luggage handling of 2 bags per person; taxes; local guides at selected points, and the services of an experienced tour manager throughout.
